SUBARU WRX .. - What can we say that has not been
already explored?!?
Who can say why the stylists at Subaru who have done such a great job on the previous
WRX's and also the Vortex?(whats that you ask?-Only needed a Turbo!!) have changed tack
towards the Toyota Corolla look. Maybe someone changed jobs at the two factories, or the
friend of a friend said that round headlights are in for the new millennium. Check the
latest Mercs!
I think that the owners of earlier WRX's are in for a bonus when time comes to trade in on
a new turbo... Audi? Volvo?
I doubt they will buy the new WRX!
My wife wants one but she is a Girl.. though she loves that turbo boost and a stick shift.

Its even heavier and no more powerful, just a bit more torque (2Nm!)
To cost more than the current AUD$40,240, with only a CD player 17" alloys and cruise
control. The Cruise control is probably the only worthwhile addition to stop premature
eradication of your license points.
You probably want to choose your own mags and stereo, so why dont they just put some low
cost steel wheels and radio in it and lower the ask a few grand to compensate.
Besides the wing, the car has been
fitted with a lightened balanced flywheel and a group A ram pod. The mods have made a
noticeable difference to the cars performance.
Subaru became seriously involved in
rallying in the early 1 980s with the New Zealand driver, "Possum" Bourne, and
rugged, underpowered, four-wheel drive cars such as the Leone and the RX Turbo, which were
often competitive in the new Group A category. It has now become one of the top World
Championship teams and scored its first outright victory on a World Championship on the
1993 Rally of New Zealand .
