The rebuilt JIC
coilover adjustable shock absorbers with pillow
ball mounts. These sJIC's also have a two piece
spring asssembly as well as a very substantial
inner shaft.
These shocks
were bought from a Japanese import wrecker with
assurances that they would fit a Nissan Skyline
GTS4 with AWD similar to the Skyline GTR.
As this was my
only view of them prior to purchase, I was not
aware of the very stiff spring rate.
The tyres for the
Skyline GTS4 had to be able to handle well on
the racetrack as well as the road in everyday
driving.
