The Plenum volume
was calculated using some computer modeling and
the shape and internal passages modified for low
to mid range torque. The volume is probably more
suited to topend power and I suspect it is
losing velocity under 3000RPM where it needs it
most!
It was decided to
retain the original RB20 Throttle body as it
would fit the original flange that had been cut
off and remolded to the new snout. This also
made it easier for the electronics to be
interfaced much more simply as nothing needed to
be changed from original.

I do have a
larger Ford Falcon TB but decided to maybe use
it later on if required after figuring out how
to adapt the electronics to it. Probably not a
lot of advantage as the pipe feeding up from the
Intercooler is smaller anyway and suits the
original better.
