Prince GTi-R Specifications

Believed to be the answer to Nissan's flagging rally program when first devised, the GTi-R unfortunately did not live up to expectations initially.

The intercooler was positioned above the engine ( see below) in an attempt to prevent loose rocks etc from causing holes or leaks that would sap the all important turbo boost.

Though Subaru with the WRX seem to have had more luck with rallying than Nissan did by employing this not so efficient way of keeping intake air temperatures down.

Most high power mods to both the GTi-R and WRX utilise reposition of the all important air to air intercooler to the front grill area to achieve maximum cooling effect.
