The 180SX is a two door hatchback
that is similar to the Silvia Coupe in many respects. Both share common engine
variations
and the main differences are confined to the body shape and interior trim and design. The
various models are available with turbo and non turbo CA18 or SR20 as well as Manual and
Automatic transmissions. The Automatic is more prevalent on the road, but not as popular
with performance oriented owners because of the perceived loss of power and driver
control.
