The power
produced by Turbocharged engines is far
higher than most normally aspirated engines
of the same type or capacity.
Obviously
the reasons for this are the fact that
forced induction is helping the engine
breathe easily, and as long as the fuel
supply keeps pace with the extra air, more
power for that given displacement is
produced at the same RPM's.
Because of
the extra power easily produced by the
turbo, most manufacturers seem to not
optimize the the two most important elements
of the capacity for an engine to breathe.
These
being the air induction side and the exhaust
side.
To
simply turn up the boost is not the best way
to enhance the power out put of a factory
stock Turbo car.
The
first thing to do is improve the flow of air
into and out of any engine, turbocharged or
not. Go
