'69 Javelin 401

Complete restoration/rebuild 1985 -2004

The 69 Javelin when first purchased was pretty immaculate with a 343 CI V8 & Auto.

Not sure what prompted me to try to improve it to a GOLD SuperCharged 401!?

The GMC 461 Bob Fischer Supercharger with custom snout to suit AMC 401 -Belt clutch on front.

The 401 with the new fuel injection setup. The custom throttle body should be good for 1000CFM	The butterfly's have an incremental opening secondary pair
	The fuel rails and injectors will be good enough for 600+HP	The Edelbrock single plane "Torquer' has been modded for the Injectors
The heads will have Crane custom cam and forged black anodised roller rockers fitted soon.	The custom Blackjack Headers to suit the unusual 'DogLeg' Port exhaust ports flow big time!
	The block has to be modified to provide extra oil to the rear bearings found out in NASCAR racing.

Glenn is hard at work trying to get the Javelin back on the road by the end of 2004.		THe 401 is being modified and assembled at a good pace and he just may do it!
	One of THE most important mods has been done to make sure that the rear bearings do not starve of oil at 6500RPM.	The aircraft grade system has been expertly installed at home in the garage - must have been all that Aircraft engineer training;-)
The rocker gear is top shelf in all respects as we want it to hold together when pumping out 500HP	The Blackjack headers had to be flattened to clear the RH steering assy.

The oil pump has also been modded for more flow and re-routed
	THe old girl is starting to actually look like an engine that COULD make 500+HP!!
