On
Saturday the 18th October we will be
holding a Street Car / Comp car combined meeting and
an entry form is enclosed, please complete and
return by the closing date of3rd October 2003.
The
meeting will commence with qualifying for comp cars
at approx 12 noon. From 4.00pm elimination’s will
take place leaving Qtr’s Semi’s and finals to be
completed during the remainder of the evening within
the Street Meeting for Street Cars.
STREET CARS CLASS for
Calder Park Street Drag Competitors (not comp
cars)
Street
Cars can enter on the day ( pre entry preferred)
but must be at Scrutineering between 3.00pm and
4.30pm racing starts at 6.00pm, this so all cars
will be eligible for the Quick 8 and Super Quick
8 brackets being run.
Both
these brackets will attract prizemoney as below.
Quick
8 (running 11.99secs and slower)Winner$200
Runner Up $100
Super
Quick 8 ( running 1.98 and quicker) Winner$200 Runner Up $100
Entry
fee for this class $55.00 inc GST this includes
one crew member at this meeting.
The
street meeting will be run as usual heads up
(both competitors starting at the same time)
The
Quick 8 and Super Quick 8 will be DYO giving
slower cars more of a chance so drivers must
sharpen their reaction time.
COMP CARS
CLASS
Qualifying
starts at 12.00 noon scrutineering starts at
10.00am competitors must be at scrutineering no
later than11.00am
There
will be up to 4 brackets for comp cars as
follows.
Bracket(A) D Y Ofor all cars , modifieds etc. may be
split into 2 brackets after qualifying(dependant
on number of competitors)
Bracket(B)9.90bracket for Super Gas minimum 12 Cars
Bracket(C) DYO for all Bikes.
Prizemoney
for all comp class brackets will be paid as
below.
Winner$500 runner up $250Semi $150Qtr $75.
Comp
cars cannot enter the Street Class.
All
Comp Class competitors must pre enter, entries
cannot be accepted on the day for these
brackets.
Entry
fee for this class $154 inc GST. and includes5 crew members.
